Within the two Plenaries of the European Data Protection Board from December 2022, three decisions were adopted in relation to the relevant objections to the decision project of DPA Ireland regarding Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta IE) – Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp Ireland Limited platforms, based on Article 65 paragraph (1) letter a) of the GDPR.

Also, a Statement on the implications of the CJEU judgment C-817/19 on the implementation of the Directive (EU) 2018/681 in relation to the use of PNR in Member States was adopted.
