At the online conference named “The effectivity of the GDPR application in a connected world” organized on 27^th of January 2023, by the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing, in order to celebrate the European Data Protection Day, important representatives of some ministries, central public institutions participated, as well as numerous representatives of the most important professional unions and associations, together with those of some private companies form various domains of activity.

The numerous participation attested the special interest for the application at high standards of the principles and rules for personal data protection.

The main subjects presented referred to:

the processing of children personal data
international transfers of data
the implication of the use of new technologies
the EDPB report on cookies
the conditions for the liability of the controllers
the processing of data within the context of the fiscal investigation.

At the closing of the conference, the President of the Authority thanked to the guests for the implication and expressed the opening of our institution for the continuation of the collaboration with the public and private environment, in order to ensure an effective observance of the personal data use rules.
